I'm a creative enthusiast maximalist, intuitive multidimensional creator, expressively responsive adapter, mastery student, wise one.

Known locally for face painting, original henna designs, custom tattoos and all forms of multidisciplinary art works and creations. I predominantly use organic, non-toxic, up-cycled, reusable, sustainable materials and processes whenever possible. Collecting, resourcing and reusing materials is preferred and encouraged. Any loose sparkle I use is made of plant cellulous and eco friendly.

I have a flow state, intuitively adaptive style​ inspired and empowered by the surrounding ocean, rivers and forests.

I was born in BC and raised in Campbell River since I was 7. 

 After having a baby at 23, and becoming a single parent at 25, I went back to school for the next 15 years starting with finishing up the last few credits for high school graduation, then a Fine Art Diploma which turned into a Bachelors Degree through the Comox Valley NIC/Emily Carr University external program. I also homeschooled my son from grade 7-10 while getting my degree. He took over his last 2 years and graduated in 2020.

Throughout the years I worked with the Campbell River Art Gallery as Art Educator/Facilitator, hosting and coordinating group art projects and classes. When I started face painting with Magical Faces in 2006, I was encouraged into body painting and competed all over Canada until 2010. A solid 18 years later, I'm confidently considered one of the fastest face painters on the island. Face Painting creates joy ripples and it's been an amazing journey!

As I took my schooling part-time in order to home school my son in tandem, I was able to take quite a few academic classes of personal interest to me, like the first 2 years of Biology and Psychology which led to my interest in Positive Psychology, Child Development and Criminal/Deviant Behaviors, Physics, Philosophy and Creative Writing, Computer Programming and Media Design and Entrepreneur classes as well. In 2020, I dove deep into my self healing and discovered that I am AuDHD which is a unique combination of ADHD and Autism. Finally all the interests and creative outlets made sense as well as my struggles with my own brain! To survive, undiagnosed without help required me to create systems and processes.

Here are a few fun facts:

1. My processes are created to ensure efficiency and are very important to the execution of all tasks.

2. I absorb information on many levels therefore I may need additional time to process.

3. My innate ability to utilize hyper fixation helps me focus and produce effectively.

4. Being hypersensitive allows me to pick up on subtle frequencies and energies utilized with intuition highlights my unique gifts of knowing, sensing and "seeing"  

5. I'm able to do many seemingly complex things easily and some seemingly easy things not at all.

6. I like to make lists.

A lifetime collection of a plethora of personal explorations, fixations and stages of mastery - pyrography, sculpture, photography, design, creative writing, and tapping in to the energetic messages of the day are just a few of the things I like to do on the side.
