Paper Witch

a paper bag kitchen witch

Start here if you want to know more about the tradition of having "good" witches hang out in your kitchen giving you luck and keeping you safe from evil spirits.

For me, she seemed like the perfect excuse to continue  working with upcycling paper products. Her name is Rosemary Thyme. Her broom and hat are made from paper bag and butcher paper. Her head and body are paper bag as well with white tissue paper for her flowing locks. With lips cut from the Logo print on a Quality Foods paper bag, she sits comfortably overlooking my kitchen blessing me.
